Positive: The location is quite problematic. To reach Amalfi city, you need either a taxi (around €60 each way) or a bus. However, the bus stop requires you to climb a very long staircase, which is especially difficult if you have luggage. Access to the apartment itself is complicated as well. The location doesn’t exactly match Google Maps, so you must follow the host’s video instructions carefully to find it. On top of that, there are many stairs — extremely long and inconvenient if you’re carrying bags. Unfortunately, the apartment also had issues with insects and small lizards getting inside. On the positive side, the host was kind and helpful. He assisted us in carrying our bags up and down the stairs to the car (for an extra fee), but he was friendly and supportive. Overall, while the apartment itself was decent, the difficult access, location, and insects made the stay less comfortable than expected.

Negative: The apartment itself was okay, but staying here comes with many extra costs and challenges. • Parking: €10 per day. • City tax: €2 per person per day. • Carrying bags in and out: almost €30 each way . • Taxi to Amalfi city: €60–80 each way (otherwise you take a bus, but it involves climbing a very long staircase).
