Positive: The location was peaceful, the setting and the views around the villa were beautiful. It was easy to find and the hosts kindly marked the lane way with white flower ribbons in advance of our arrival so that we would easily locate our villa. Inside the villa we found a spacious kitchen, dining and living room all open plan and perfect for family and friends to gather together. The bedrooms were all a good size with walk out balconies and wonderful views. Outside the pool was a perfect size and depth, with plenty of sun beds and sun umbrellas. There was a sun shelter with a dining table and chairs perfect for outdoor dining and barbecues. There was also another seating area to the front of the villa to enjoy a morning coffee or evening tipple. Amorosi has a great outdoor oven Pizzeria and a Gelateria in the square, the bakery is also fabulous. The local supermarket and Panda discount store are only two minutes away by car or a quick ride by bicycle which are supplied with the villa. There are three restaurants in nearby towns which are in the Michelin Guide, we ate in a few restaurants quite locally and we were never disappointed with the food or the local wine. We found all the locals to be super friendly, we would recommend learning and speaking a few words in Italian. We also drove to the coast a few times and visited Herculaneum. All trips took approximately one hour to the destinations. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and we would highly recommend villa Mariarosaria!
